Jason R. Butler, M.D.
Dr. Butler obtained his medical degree from The George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences in 2007. After medical school, he completed his residency and fellowship training at John Peter Smith Hospital in Fort Worth (JPS Health Network). He is Board Certified in Family Medicine and Sports Medicine, and has additional specialty training in Interventional Pain Medicine. In 2012, he joined Arlington Pain & Therapy and has been one of the driving forces behind expanding the scope of interventional treatment options for their patients. The practice now has locations in South Arlington and Mansfield.
Dr. Butler was the Team Physician for Eastern Hills High School from 2010 to 2012 and served as an assistant Team Physician for multiple other teams in both Arlington and Fort Worth ISD. He has worked with Texas Christian University (TCU), Texas Wesleyan University (TWU), Golden Gloves, and Hotter ‘N Hell Hundred; as well as other local sports organizations to provide care for athletes and their families.
Dr. Butler is a member of the Texas Pain Society, American Society of Interventional Pain Physicians, American Medical Society of Sports Medicine, American College of Sports Medicine, Texas Medical Association, Tarrant County Medical Society, Texas Academy of Family Physicians, and the American Academy of Family Physicians. He is affiliated with Baylor Surgicare at Mansfield, Baylor Surgical Hospital at Fort Worth, Select Ambulatory Surgical Center of Fort Worth, and USMD Hospital Arlington.
